As I promised in my previous article "Feel like a Billionaire in Dubai", I will share for you some great info about my 1 day experience in Abu Dhabi. If your hotel is in Dubai, you need to take a bus to visit Abu Dhabi.
You have to take the bus E101 from IBN Battuta Metro Station (DUBAI). After 1 hour you'll arrive there (ABU DHABI) and it's 25 AED (two way 50 AED). You can use your Nol Silver Card.
The bus arrived at Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station. It's near Al Wahda Mall. At this mall you can eat at a very good price. My next stop was Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. You can take the bus or taxi. I preferred the taxi because it was very hot outside. The taxi driver dropped me near a big globe (but was actually the entrance to the tunnel to Grand Mosque. 💖
After you descend the escalators, go left to take the ticket. It's free, but you need to fill in the blanks your country, your genre and so on. Then, if you are a woman, you must borrow their traditional clothes named "Abaya".
If you are picky (like I was), you can try different colours (black, blue, pink, burgundy). I took the burgundy one because matched perfectly with my shoes. If you are a man and aren't dressed properly to visit the Mosque, you must borrow too their traditional clothes.
Then, you'll be guided to cross the tunnel to reach to Grand Mosque. After, you can start your photo shooting because every angle has a story and something unique. You need to show your ticket twice during the tour, so keep it!! Usually people spend here 2 hours. I spent 3 hours😂.
After, I took a taxi to visit The Emirates Palace (click the link https://www.booking.com/hotel/ae/emirates-palace.en.html?aid=1971070&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&label=ATB). It's a 5* hotel and the majority of the suites are furnished in gold and marble.
It's a great place for photo shooting!! You'll feel there like a Queen/King. Next to the palace you can observe Etihad Towers (a complex of buildings with five towers). I wanted to visit also Ferrari World but I didn't have enough time. Maybe next time for sure!!
The dinner I took it in Al Wahda Mall and got back in Dubai to visit IBN Battuta Mall. At first, seems that I visited very little, but the distances are really huge between the sights.
I hope you enjoyed the article and took some great info for your trip! Thank you for your time and have a wonderful and inspiring day!
Andra😘💋
