"Dobrý den!" means "Hello!"😘.
A city of magic and romance, a gem of architecture down the centuries, Prague is a cultural and economic city with a rich history. The capital of the Czech Republic, is situated in the north-west of the country. Did you know that the Vltava River flows through the city for 31 km? The currency in Prague is Czech Crown (CZK). For more info click the link https://www.xe.com/currency/czk-czech-koruna.🤑
Beer ("Pivo") is by far the most popular drink in Czech Republic, so it can be bought literally everywhere. Therefore beer tourism is so iconic for the Czech Republic. The Czechs usually prefer lager beer, similar to traditional German Reinheitsgebot one.🍻👌

I visited Prague 2 times, but the last time (2017) I visited it properly. Here is a list of top things I visited in Prague😉:
1. River cruises - Are both popular and varied, from one hour cruises to long evening cruises with dinner or music. Don't forget to drink beer.😉
2. The Prague Castle - This is the biggest ancient castle in the world, according to Guinness World Records and contains more than seven hundred rooms. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept within a hidden room inside it.
Usually people spend more than 1 hour. A Prague castle ticket is 350 CZK and an audio guide costs a further 350 CZK. The Prague Castle panorama is one of the most impressive anywhere. I was lucky to catch the changing of the guards at the main castle gates at 12:00.😍
3. The St. Vitus Cathedral - Is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral, located within Prague Castle and contains the tombs of many Bohemian kings and Holy Roman Emperors.
4. The Dancing House - This exceptional building is a pillar of modern Prague architecture, inspired by the dancing skill of that famous movie couple – Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
5. The St. George's Basilica - Is the oldest surviving church building within Prague Castle, built around the year 920 by Prince Vratislav I. The Baroque façade dates from the late 17th century.
6. The Charles Bridge - Connects Old Town with Lesser Town. This popular pedestrian bridge is filled with musicians, painters, vendors and tourists during the summertime. It was very busy because lots of people were taking photos. Is a lovely view over the river.🌉
7. The Old Town Hall With The Astronomical Clock - The Old Town Hall dates from 1338, presiding over the Old Town. The oldest Gothic part of the complex is the tower and the oriel chapel, as well as the medieval horologe, where every hour between 9:00–23:00 the 12 Apostles are to be seen.
8. The Petřín Lookout Tower - Is a 63.5 meter tall steel-framework tower on Petřín Hill in Prague built in 1891. It resembles the Eiffel Tower and was used as an observation tower as well as a transmission tower.
Today the tower is a major tourist attraction. Climbing the tower costs 120 CZK for a standard ticket or 60 CZK for discounts. Paid lift available (60 CZK). I was with a big group and the group decided to take the stairs. Big mistake!🤣
9. The Municipal House - Or Obecni Dum, is used as concert hall, ballroom, civic building, and includes cafes and restaurants. Many of the rooms in the building are closed to the public and open only for guided tours. I was crossing the street when I noticed the building of the Art Nouveau architecture style.
10. The Prague Zoo - To get there, take Metro C to Nadrazi Holesovice, then bus 112 which terminates at the Zoo. It is considered one of the most beautiful zoo in the world. The rugged terrain offers over 10 km of walking trails through such exotic exhibitions as the Africa House, the Indonesian Jungle, and the Valley of the Elephants.
This beautiful piece of nature is a popular destination for families with children. Nearby is The Troja Château with a large garden displaying various sculptures and a Botanic Garden with a tropical greenhouse.
11. The Troja Château - Is indeed a remarkable and exceptional building. The construction of the early Baroque château began in 1679. The monumental sculptures on the staircase symbolize the Titans fighting the Classical gods. Most of the paintings found on the ground floor of the château were created by Carpoforo Tencalla.
The basic ticket is 120 CZK, reduced 60 CZK and family 250 CZK. It is open everyday from April to October at 10 A.M. until 6 P.M. except Monday (closed) and Friday (1 P.M. - 6 P.M.).
12. The Gardens of Troja Château - The gardens are divided into three parts. In the lower parts of the southern garden there is central fountain with the Neptune's water jet. Concerts are also held on the château grounds.
13. The Botanic Garden - The garden offers almost 30 hectares of landscaped areas, including the Fata Morgana tropical greenhouse exhibit, letting you enjoy a trip to the tropics at any time of the year. We began with The Troja Château, then The Botanic Garden and after The Prague Zoo.
14. The National Theatre - Is known as the "alma mater" of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art. The National Theatre was opened for the first time on 11 June 1881, to honour the visit of Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria.
15. The Charles Bridge Museum - It's a history museum where you can learn all about the Charles Bridge. Did you know that the bridge has a fascinating Gothic structure and the fact that it's the oldest bridge in Prague?😉
16. The Church of St. Salvator - Is one of two churches in the Klementinum, in Old Town. It's next to Charles Bridge Museum. Is a restored church from the early 17th century.
17. The Old Town Bridge Tower - Is one of the most beautiful Gothic gateways in the world. The tower, along with Charles Bridge, was built by Emperor Charles IV in the mid-14th century. The gate to the Old Town was also conceived as a symbolic victory arch through which Czech kings passed on their coronation processions.
18. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence on Petřín Hill - It's next to The Petřín Lookout Tower. Originally built in a Romanesque style, it was rebuilt later in the Baroque style by the prolific Prague architect K. I. Dientzenhofer.
19. The Štefánik Observatory - I am not a stargazer, but I changed my mind when the staff were very knowledgeable and showed us some brilliant things through the scope. Also it's worth a visit if you're interested in astronomy.
20. The Mirror Maze in Petřín Park - A favorite spot for children and adults alike. From the outside, this building resembles a small castle, but inside, instead of a labyrinth with mysterious stone hallways, you’ll find one made of mirrors. As you get in, you will find warped and twisted mirrors that will change your appearance in crazy ways.🤣🤣🤣
21. The Žižkov Television Tower - Is a unique transmitter tower built in Prague between 1985 and 1992. The tower stands 216 meters (709 feet) high and the structure of the tower is unconventional, based on a triangle whose corners go up in steel columns.
22. The Chocolate Museum Choco-Story - Chocolate lovers can find their nirvana in Prague. This museum offers the history, collection of chocolate wrappers, demonstration and tasting of this glorious sweet. Visitors can see the containers in which chocolate is blended, learn about its preparation and also about its use for the health of the human body.
You will discover chocolate’s history back to the time of the Aztecs. Eat as much chocolate, truffles and chocolate pralines as you can! 😍🍫💖 It's open daily from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and the ticket for adults is 270 CZK and for students, children, seniors, groups is 199 CZK. Nearby is The Wax Museum Madame Tussauds and The Museum of Torture.
